Hair Color/Style: Forest green, which you will see in the right light. In a dim lighted room, her hair is very dark.
Eye Color: Golden brown
Other: She keeps a flower in her hair all the time.

Personality
Skownan is very down to earth. She isn't an earth element for nothing! She's kind and gentle but wears a poker face all the time so it makes people around her uncomfortable because they can't tell her emotions. Because of her lack of social skills as a child, she tends to be very curious and very blunt. When she started school, she wanted to try everything at least once which got her in trouble some times and doesn't understand why she got in trouble. She's almost like a child although she is smart in the English, math, science, and history subjects. When she's surrounded by nature, she becomes stronger in person and spirit, so you tend to find her in the forest when she's not in class or in her dorm.

[edit]Also, sometimes her powers will go out of control if she uses strong emotions. Like, if she gets surprised, a tree might sprout out suddenly beside her or when she's super happy, a meadow of flowers would grow everywhere so being unemotional helps keeps her powers in check. [/edit]

History
When Skownan was young, she looked like any other normal kid. She was an only child for her parents, which leads them to be very protective of her. So protective in fact, they practically cut her off from having a social life, thinking kids would be a bad influence to her so they started to home school her. This went on till she was seven years old, when her earthly powers started to waken. Her parents found her in the back yard, curiously making flowers grow all over their yard with a wave of her hand. This freaked her parent's out that they started arguing to each other. It was the first, but not the only time, Skownan saw her parents fought with each other. It actually went on for years, making their happy family fall apart in front of young Skownan's eyes. When they start to shout, Skownan will just sit in the backyard making all sorts of plants grow, waiting for them to stop. Skownan then started to have a poker face on her face because she doesn't want anyone, even her parents, to know how she's feeling. She doesn't want people, who asked how her family is, to know she's sad or mad for them to be arguing all the time instead of the sneaky kisses they used to share. She hoped that one day her once happy family would come back but unfortunately the fighting got so bad, her parents decided to get a divorce when she was eight years old.

The divorce was tough for Skownan. With all the moving, the separation, the change, it made the mask that Skownan made earlier even stronger. Her parents have days when they have her over, and sometimes argue on the phone for when they discuss which days they will have her. Apparently both her parents schedule got so busy with all the changes, that they can't be home to watch and home school Skownan so they both decided on the only option they had and let Skownan stay with her grandmother,Julian until things get settled. Her grandmother lived in a cabin in a forest and Skownan found herself very comfortable living there. Her grandmother was not a person to show her affections to anyone and seems cold when they first meet her but actually she is very warm and independent. She taught Skownan many things, taught her many plants around the world and about many spiritual things. She even told Skownan her grandfather was an elemental, which explains why she is one right now. It must have skipped her father and she gotten the genes.

Skownan grew to have a childlike mind, since being home schooled by protective parents, and then a distanced grandmother, no body around her taught her things that everyone should know about. The only information she knows is what comes out of a text book.

A couple of years went by and her parents got comfortable with Skownan living with her grandmother since they never came over and picked her to live with them, but they do visit as much as they can. They were too busy dating other people, figuring out a future together that left Skownan in the dark. Eventually her mother got remarried to man named Micheal Harper, which lead her mother to take his name. Her father also remarried to a woman who has a young daughter so now Skownan have a step sibling to get along with but Skownan misses her family being whole like before.

Skownan first went to public school when she was fifteen when her parents decided that she needs to experience the real world. High school. Hell for any teenager and since Skownan is a bit-- okay, a lot different than any other student at school there, she was never one to fit in. Especially the type of clothing she is starting to prefer to wear (although nobody knows her gift yet). People would whisper behind her back, often trick her into doing things that will get her in trouble, and pretty much bully her through out her sophomore year since Skownan is very naive about the real world. Of course the girl did not get any of this. She only understands things that has a solid, logical point so she's oblivious to any insults that goes her way. But near end of the school year, the students decided to play a mean prank on poor Skownan and pushed her inside the science room, shouting insults, pouring water on her. Someone stated how Skownan is the reason why her parents had a divorced which made Skownan froze. The first time since as a kid, Skownan showed pure emotion.

She shouted how she didn't ruin her family as tears went down her face as the room started to shake, freaking the students out. The floor below them, and also the plants in a glass cabinet, broke out, filling the room with vines and leaves with all sorts of plants and started to grab everyone. Every feared her powers will grow out of control. Just then someone ran through the madness and gentle placed a hand on her cheek and whispered that everything will be all right. The gentleness reminded her of the time her family was together family and the room instantly calmed down before Skownan passed out. Later she found herself in the nurse office with both her parents on either side of her with concern look on their faces.

Turns out the nurse was the one who saved everyone. She said she knows the supernatural kind and didn't expect that one will be at such a small school but because of her experience and of her job, she presented the brochure for Lawrence High School. They said people with all kinds of supernatural abilities go there and live in harmony and Skownan would fit right in but her parents were unsure and let Skownan finish school before deciding. The last few weeks, everyone knew about Skownan and avoided her like the plague and finally the school year was over with Skownan never looking back at the bad experience.

Both her parents declined the offer because they don't want to send Skownan to another school after seeing what happened at her previous school. They decided to home school her once again. All the drama died over and things become normal again. Well, at least until summer was over.[/edit]

Eventually both of Skownan's parents started making their own families as both her birth mother AND step mother have discovered they are pregnant. It was on Skownan's sixteen birthday that both her parents had told her gently that they will be sending her to a private school for the gifted like herself. She agreed anyways because Skownan is not a child to protest against them but inside Skownan felt like they tossed her away because they want to start over with their new families.

Skownan left without notice because she was told she needs to go on a spiritual journey O: _{She's so gullible sometimes xD} But she did it! She joined a crazy voodoo women in a forest and learned much. She gain some emotions such a joy but she also very blunt and say stupid things because of the voodoo lady. She's still your loveable Skownan though <3
